Scott Neste is an amazing designer and artist. He owns his own Design + Furniture shop in Proctor Tacoma, Minor Details Interior Design & Furnishings. I had the delight to photograph two of his projects in a single day, the first was a beautiful modern kitchen and the second was an assortment of rooms. Due to some conflicts, we had several hours between the first session and the next. To pass the time, we decided to go out to lunch and grab some baked goods at Corina Bakery, another one of Scott’s designs. There is nothing better than being able to sit down with a client and learn about them and their business.
The powder bath was the first room that I photographed. The space felt warm and cozy as the two pendant lights gave a rich warm glow that lit the floating vanity just right. By using a unique and beautiful wallpaper, Scott was able to incorporate the homeowner’s love of giraffes.
