My wife and I are in the process of selling our house and starting the next chapter of our lives. We purchased our first home in April of 2013.
It needed a lot of love and we thought that we could take on the project. Despite the warnings from our friends and family,we bought it; soon realizing that we may have bitten off more than we could chew. However, it was too late to back out. The day we received our keys, we were tearing out carpet, tile, and a poorly placed feng shui fountain. We took on project after project and even had several going at once. After several years of blood, sweat, and tears (literally), memories such as having our daughter, laughter and the roller coaster of life we put our home on the market April 27th, 2017; 1 day after our 4 year milestone of being homeowners. We learned so much and accomplished what we sought out to do; making this home functional for another family to grow and cherish. This home started out as a nightmare project but became something so much more than we had dreamed of.
